How We Work

On the very first day of the project, our team will begin by running through with you their plan for completing the works, as well as answering any questions you might have.

The first stage of works will consist of;

Moving, and covering with Thin Plastic Sheeting (TPS), any furniture as required. We kindly request that any small items are removed from areas, or compiled to enable them to be covered by sheeting, prior to works starting in any respective rooms.
Covering the flooring of the working area with dust sheets and/or Antinox® protective sheeting (depending on the surface), and sealing said sheeting with tape, ensuring minimal passage for dust.
Unscrewing and/or taping up any sockets, light switches and other fixtures as required.

Once we have completed setting up site, we can begin our preparation work as follows;

Sand all surfaces prior to decoration with our Mirka® dustless sanding machines.
Wash, with sugar soap where required, and rinse surfaces to remove dust and any loose debris.
Fill and/or caulk required areas to ensure a flawless and long-lasting finish. Lightly re-sand said areas ready for decoration.

Our painters know exactly how to prepare each unique surface, giving you peace of mind that our decorating work will be both enduring and pristine.

A collaborative process, our accomplished painting and decorating team will deploy their decades of industry experience to ensure your vision is realised. Prior to decoration works initiating, recommendations for types of finish, colours, materials and other design aspects can be discussed. Our painters will always utilise the best-fit materials for the job at hand!

The decoration stage will be carried out using cutting-edge techniques and equipment to guarantee a pristine finish, whether it be paintwork, wallpapering or mural-hanging, both for interior and exterior work.

JRN will never leave a site/area messier than when we started.

After finishing touches and upon project completion, expect a full walkthrough of the completed works so we can ensure you are satisfied.

We begin our process by offering a free site visit, which can be booked here. This allows us to completely gauge the scope of work you require and identify any potential issues only visible to the trained eye. During this and the following pre-project stages, things such as paint brands, finishes, colours and any recommendations we might have can be discussed.

We will then promptly complete an accurate estimate of works for you to view, so you can know what the project is expected to cost.

Once you have given the go ahead, we will create a complete schedule of works and agree a start date, so you know exactly what should be happening and when.
